It was quite exciting recently to see that someone shared one of our recent posts on our facebook page. Not because they shared it - but because we could see WHO shared it!
Seeing who is sharing your content is something that twitter users have always had access to via @mentions, and more recently retweets in their profiles. It always nice to share something on twitter, and then see that someone has retweeted it. As we like to say here at smqueue - "sharing is caring!"
On facebook, it's never been obvious if someone was sharing the content you posted. But now, there's this:
Note the View 1 share link. When you click on that link, you get to see who shared your content like this:
The smqueue mantra is "Share and be shared". Now that facebook users can see you sharing their content, it's a great opportunity to start really taking advantage of the share link on facebook. What we find through the "share and be shared" philosophy is that users who care will usually return the favour when you share their content by sharing your content.
So, start taking advantage of the "view share" link, see who is sharing your content, and go return the favour.
