2.  Connect people - We have found and met people who we have become good friends with because of a simple RT.  When you RT someone you literally share them to people who follow you. You connect others with the same interest on certain topics.

It was quite exciting recently to see that someone shared one of our recent posts on our facebook page.  Not because they shared it - but because we could see WHO shared it!  

Seeing who is sharing your content is something that twitter users have always had access to via @mentions, and more recently retweets in their profiles.  It always nice to share something on twitter, and then see that someone has retweeted it.  As we like to say here at smqueue - "sharing is caring!"
